Visit to the Coast - Milford on Sea

Milford on Sea is about a 2 hour train ride SW of our home. 

We took a day trip down to visit friends. 

It is a large sleepy village and a lot of birds and retired folks enjoy living there.

The New Forest is on one side, and, Christchurch Harbour is on the other side.

We walked along the coast and could see the Isle of Wright and Hurst Castle.

It was great to have a change of scenery, visit with friends, have a brisk walk along the coast and get a break from the hustle and bustle of the big city.

And of course, we had to stop at one of the local pubs for a bite to eat and a pint of local draft beer.
